Barite (BaSO4), composed of barium sulfate, is largely exported from India to the Middle East and other countries all over the world. We SKK minerals export high quality fine powered Barite. We export fine Barite that is suitable for oil mud drilling, to prevent the explosive release of oil during the drilling process.

As the global demand for Barite has largely increased, the extraction and production process is properly examined to obtain fine Barite powder.
After acquiring Barite from the deposits, it is taken for the laboratory process. This step helps you to obtain a pure and clean fine powdered Barite. Here, Barite is washed properly and to remove the impurities from its external surface. Secondly, it is crushed into powder using machinery. It is then poured into a machine, where the Barite powder is prepared. To process Barite at different stages, a pulverizing unit is put into use.
The quality of Barite ranges from 3.9 to 4.3; the more the specific gravity, the better its quality. The Grades of Barite is distinguished depending on its specific gravity. For drilling purposes, the quality of the Barite has to be 4.15; usually, Barite is used in various fields according to its specific gravity. Barites with higher specific gravity can achieve a target with a lesser volume. In contrast, if you prefer to achieve the same target with Barite with lesser specific gravity, more quantity will be consumed. Barite with higher specific gravity is termed to be the high-quality fine powdered Barite.
Moreover, the contaminants of Barite reduce its overall specific gravity. Blanc fixe can be considered the best quality of Barite as it contains 99% of Barite. It is prepared in the laboratory using the precipitation method. The quality and brightness are not related to each other. The brightness of Barite depends on its origin. Brown Barite is found in Nevada, Missouri, Georgia, Illinois, and Mexico, whereas the white Barite is found in China. It is used extensively in the paint industry.
Range of grades:
It is used as a weighing material in the oil and gas industry. It enables safe drilling and the softness of Barite reduces damages to drilling machineries.
In the medical industry, Barite plays a vital role. Being a dense mineral, Barite prevents X-ray penetration. Having said that, it is helpful in determining the normal or abnormal anatomy of gastrointestinal tracts.
Barite is also used in a wide variety of other applications including:
Barite Fine powder is packed with 20, 40 and 50 Kg. Considering the buyer’s request, it is packed with 1ton/bag, 1.5/ton bag.
